—— About Us
Connecting Communities Through Theater, Bringing Chinese-Language Stories to a Wider Audience
Drama Valley Performing Arts is a nonprofit performing arts organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Through Chinese-language theater and film, we enrich the cultural life of the Bay Area’s Chinese community and foster understanding and dialogue across cultures and generations.
We bring together local arts enthusiasts, technology professionals, and professional actors, directors, and designers to create and present stories that reflect the experiences of Chinese communities abroad. Through live performances with English subtitles, we invite Chinese-speaking audiences and people from diverse language backgrounds to share the theater experience and discover one another’s lives and cultures.
